Publishing Multi Tiles

GIS Cloud Suite supports to aggregate multiple map tiles, and publishes the map tiles as Map Service. The tiles can be aggreagted including MBTiles, SMTiles, UGCV5, as well as the tiles stored in MongoDB. Please publish Multi Tiles by the following steps:

1. Log in to GIS Cloud Suite, clicks on iManager Home > System Management; clicks Service Management > Service Instances on the left navigation bar; clicks on + Publish Service on the page of Service Instances. Selects Multi Tiles and clicks on Next.

   • Advanced Options(Used for customize configuration): Customize the configuration to build services, more details please refer to SuperMap iServer Documentation. To extent services please refer to Service Management > Service Extension. To migrate services from iServer please refer to Appendix > iServer Services Migration.

2. Fills out the datasource information.

   • Map Name(Required): The name of the new map, supports to user defined.

   • Combining Mode(Required): There are three modes to select: Default, BaseTilesets, and CustomScales.

     • Default: The ranges and scales which are used in the map service are the sets of all the tiles from datasource.
     • BaseTilesets: The ranges and scales which are used in the map service are the sets of the base tile.
     • CustomScales: Customize the ranges and scales of the map service.

   • Tilesets(Required): Select the datasource.

     • MongoDB: Clicks on ’+’ to add the tilesets.

       • Service Address(Required): The service address of MongoDB, eg, ‘192.168.17.150:27017’.
       • Database: The name of the database in MongoDB.
       • User Name: The username of the database.
       • Password: The password of the database.
       • Click to get tiles(Required)
       • Tilesets(Required): Select the tilesets as the datasource.

     • SMTiles: Clicks on ’+’ to add the tilesets.

       • SMTiles path(Required): Add SMTiles files(*.smtiles) or MBTiles files(*.mbtiles) from file manager, or enter the path of the files. Please refer GIS Cloud Suite > File Management to use File Manager.
       • Click to get tiles(Required)
       • Tilesets(Required): Select the tilesets as the datasource.

     • UGCV5: Clicks on ’+’ to add the tilesets.

       • UGCV5 tiles config file(Required): Add UGCV5 files(*.sci或*.inf) from file manager, or enter the path of the files. Please referGIS Cloud Suitece Site > File Management](../FileManagement/) to use File Manager.
       • Click to get tiles(Required)
       • Tilesets(Required): Select the tilesets as the datasource.
   • Base Tileset(BaseTilesets mode required): Add the base tile sets. The method of adding tile sets is the same as Tilesets, click on ’-’ to remove the set.
   • Custom Scales(CustomScales mode required): Customize the scales of map service, eg, ‘1:100’. Clicks on ’+’ to add the scale, click on ’-’ to remove the scale.
3. Select the service type. Please refer to the relationship table in GIS Cloud Suite >Service Management > Service Instances > Publish Service.

4. Select whether the service configuration is Editable. If the service configuration is editable, the visitors allow to modify the service configuration.

   When you only select one kind of service type to publish, you can define the name of service instance:

   • Service Name: Define the name of service instance. The service name will be generated according to datasource and service type automatically if you do not define.

5. Select the service node.

   • New node: Create a service node to carry the service instance. If this is your first time to publish service, you need to create a service node.
   • Existing nodes(Recommend): Select the existing service nodes to carry the service instance. If the existing service nodes do not have the license permission, please create a new one.
6. Clicks on Publish and wait for the prompt.
