GIS Cloud Suite

Proxy

SuperMap iEdge is a GIS edge server platform that is deployed close to the client or data source. It is used for nearby real-time analysis and processing, which can reduce response delays and bandwidth consumption, and reduce the pressure on the cloud GIS center. It can be used as a proxy and accelerator between the GIS server and end users. Through localized map caching strategy (raster + attribute + vector), users can truly experience smooth remote cloud services.

The GIS Cloud Suite supports proxy services through iEdge. That is, if the service instances in the GIS Cloud Suite are published in iEdge, then the two will form an agency relationship. GIS Cloud Suite can centrally view Proxy Node in iEdge. After iEdge proxies services in GIS Cloud Suite, it can also forward client requests to the cloud suite and cache the results locally for reuse, thus speeding up the client. If the cache of the map is pre-generated in the cloud suite, the map tiles can be distributed to iEdge in advance through Tile Delivery. After iEdge receives the map tiles, it can directly read the map tiles and respond to client requests without forwarding requests to the cloud suite, thus further improving the efficiency of client map access.
